Welcome to kindergarten!

     The Chichester School District kindergarten full day program provides opportunities that are simply not available in a half-day program. Students journal everyday using the Kid Writing method, participate in 100 Book Challenge, and enjoy our theme-based curriculum which incorporates the Harcourt Collections series for math and language arts.

 Although we are housed in Hilltop Elementary, we strive to maintain our community connection through the hard work of the Home and School and the Boothwyn faculty. Kindergarten students participate in a special everyday, either art, music or gym instructed by a member of the Boothwyn faculty. In addition the Kindergarteners participate in most assemblies and special events with their Boothwyn peers.

Highlights of the Kindergarten year include the Halloween Parade, a Thanksgiving Feast, The Polar Express Day, the 100th Day of School, our Memorial Day Patriotic Concert, our Zoo Field Trip, and the Kindergarten Picnic and Field Day.
