Welcome to Learning Support

There are currently two learning support classrooms at Boothwyn Elementary, a primary class and an intermediate class.  The special education classrooms offer support to students with learning disabilities.  The type and intensity of specially designed instruction is based upon the student’s individual needs that are outlined in the child’s IEP (Individualized Education Program).  Depending upon the student’s needs, support can be offered either within the learning support classroom or within the regular education classroom.  The special education teachers work hand in hand with the regular classroom teachers to develop an appropriate learning environment in which the students will experience success.  If there are any questions regarding the program, contact Pupil Services at 610-485-6881 Ext. 6500.
