Welcome to Reading

    There are currently two reading specialists serving the Boothwyn student population.  Mrs. Ina Galer works with students in grades K-2.  Mrs. Heather DiMarino works with students in grades 3 and 4.  Both reading specialists work with students in a variety of ways including small group instruction within the classroom, small group pull out programs, individual evaluations and interventions.  Students are selected for services based on classroom teacher observations and recommendations, as well as district assessments and the IST program.  Once a student has been selected, there is on going communication with the classroom teacher and the reading specialist to determine the success of the interventions and make necessary changes in instruction.
